Instructor Bio: | We began taking courses on machine repairs back in 2001. We initially took courses put on by Pfaff sewing machines. Our knowledge and the brands of machines Bill is adept at repairing grew from there. Bill was raised on a small hobby farm. His Dad encouraged him to follow his talents and turn them into a skills group. Bill is very mechanically adept. I handle the testing, parts sourcing, tension adjustments, software and firmware updates. And of course, trouble shooting with customers both in person and over the phone. I am a sewist, quilter and long armer. I work on both domestic and industrial sewing machines(of which I have two.) If we cannot repair a machine, we defer to skilled people in our network. Whether it be circuit board repairs/replacements and or other mechanical or technical issues, we have learned, over the past 24 years, where to send the machines for proper repairs. We do our utmost to honestly keep the sewing going. |
